With a rapid growth of the North East economy for tourism and hospitality and strong performance within engineering and manufacturing, Northumberland Career College offers courses in Rural Tourism, Hospitality, Construction and Engineering.
Latest figures indicate an 18% increase in jobs in tourism within Northumberland over the next five years, growth in day visitors to 7.6m and in visitors from outside the North East to 83.3%.
Over 502,000 passenger cars and commercial vehicles are manufactured in the North East annually. The sector includes over 240 automotive companies in the North East, generating over £11billion. While the sub-sea and off-shore sector supports over 10,000 jobs and includes over 50 companies.
Northumberland College has invested more than £14m across its campuses in recent years.
